Front Headlock Shuck
Here the attacker in blue controls a front headlock. Notice the pressure on the opponent's shoulder. The attacker uses motion to set up the shuck. The attacker is on his toes with a wide base.
The attacker pushes the head of his opponent across his stance--known as a shuck. The hard punch forces the opponent to expose his body for an attack. Be careful not to let your legs get too close to your opponent when you shuck.
With the angle created, the attacker drops hands and runs to the defender's legs. He locks on the opponent's waist for the go-behind. In freestyle wrestling a defender can keep from being scored on by maintaining a tripod position.
