The registration for the USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals is filling up quickly, so now is the time to sign up before the event becomes sold out.

The USA Wrestling Cliff Keen Preseason Nationals is set for the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Nov. 2-3.

Only the first 1,500 High School Boys, the first 1,500 eighth grade and below wrestlers and the first 200 High School Girls to register will be accepted into the tournament. The event is quickly filling up in many of the divisions.

At this time, there is 2,126 total registered wrestlers already, with 1,157 high school boys and 959 wrestlers who are eighth grade and below. Both of these age divisions are expected to sell out soon!!!

The current registered athletes already represent 38 different states, to include: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

The USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals is on pace to break last year’s record entry total of 2,590 athletes.

This year the high school tournament is divided into Freshman / Sophomore and Junior / Senior Divisions. If you are a freshman or sophomore you may wrestle in the Junior / Senior division but CANNOT wrestle in both.

The high school boys tournament will be wrestled on November 2 while the 8th grade and below and high school girls tournaments will both be held on November 3rd.

For high school girls, this event offers a great opportunity to get a quality competition against athletes from other states prior to the start of your high school season.
